Mobility in Europe
Convinced that exchanges between countries are a rich source of progress in mobility, Wimoov wanted to create partnerships with European structures to invest in a subject that is still rarely, if ever, dealt with: the mobility of the underprivileged.
The subjects of inclusive mobility and support for vulnerable groups are approached differently in different countries, which is why it is essential to create a common frame of reference. For several months now, Wimoov has been leading an European project to achieve this ambition, alongside the Fundacion Ibercaja (Spain), Responsible Young Drivers Vlandereen and RYD Wallonie-Bruxelles (Belgique).
In concrete terms, this project has two objectives :
- To promote the acquisition of new skills, resources and innovative approaches through the exchange of best practices
- To map the ecosystems of inclusive and sustainable mobility in each of the three partner countries (mobility players, legislative frameworks and operating methods of socio-professional integration schemes).
As a first step towards understanding the ecosystem, immersion days were organized in the three territories in the presence of each partner. This is just the first step: Wimoov is continuing its research for partnerships in Europe around inclusive mobility!
